Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Operate Fugro's specialized drilling equipment to drill and investigative boreholes safely and efficiently.
  • Determine optimal drilling parameters and select suitable tools for each project.
  • Position drill bits accurately for in-situ testing, logging, and sample recovery.
  • Monitor drilling operations and enforce strict health and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to deliver accurate borehole data.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with operational standards.

What You'll Need to Thrive In This Role

  • Proven experience in land drilling operations or a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques – Rotary and/or Sonic and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to various UK locations as required.
