Fugro have an exciting opportunity to join our Purchasing team as a Purchasing Assistant. The position can be situated in the Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, or Plymouth.
In this vital role for Fugro, the Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Purchasing team and will be required to create communicative and collaborative working relationships with others in the department and will be an integral member of the team. You will report into the Purchasing Supervisor and will also have regular engagement with the wider UK and Global Supply Chain Teams Accounts and Project Teams.

Your role and responsibilities:
- Review & upload requests from the business for goods and services, sent via our ERP systems
- Support Master Data team with supplier onboarding and due diligence
- Monitor and update all processed orders
- Expedite overdue orders and orders due within the next 14 days
- Secure POD’s to facilitate goods receipts
- Review and maintain the approved vendors list
- Liase with internal departments & stakeholders
- Support Purchasers with their day to day duties
- Secure invoice back up to substantiate invoice payments
