While standard working hours apply, occasional shift or weekend working may be required to support operational needs.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, process and accurately record incoming goods, materials and samples, ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Support the safe storage, handling and dispatch of samples, equipment and materials to clients, vessels, laboratories and other Fugro locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control systems, routine checks and timely updates to relevant records and documentation.
  • Assist with sample management activities, including sorting, packaging, transfer, storage and disposal processes.
  • Work closely with laboratory teams, couriers and site personnel to coordinate logistics and ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Help maintain a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment, adhering to Fugro’s Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) standards.
  • Support the resolution of inventory, shipment or delivery discrepancies while communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to thrive in this role

  • Strong attention to detail, organisation skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to follow procedures, prioritise tasks and work effectively to deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a regulated environment and/or a forklift truck licence.
