The ROV supervisor is concerned with running of the ROV with an offshore team, under instructions from the Project Managers.**This job is for you if:*** You want to be part of a great team.* You want to work for a company who puts safety first.* You are looking for a job where you will be working offshore for approximately 180 days per year.* You have previous experience on a variety of projects and ROVs.**Who you’ll be working with:**While offshore, depending on the nature of the project, you may be working closely with the team of Surveyors and Engineers to ensure all ROV equipment is working effectively, and data is collected efficiently and accurately. You will communicate regularly with the team onboard the vessel and, when required, clients.**Here’s what a typical day would be like:*** Carrying out management duties expected offshore.* Ensuring effective communications via a toolbox talk so as the oncoming shift are fully aware of ongoing tasks.* Training/assessing Pilot Technician Grades and Sub Engineers.* Organizing and managing the team.* Interfacing with our clients.* Ensure Pilot/Technicians carryout all tasks in accordance with the procedures.**Who we’re looking for:**Essential* Previous experience of working as an ROV Supervisor at offshore worksites.* Comprehensive understanding of mobilisations, operations and fault finding of work-class and eyeball specification ROVs.* Nationally recognised technical or trade qualification and / or appropriate level national vocational qualification in one or more of the following subjects: electrical, electronics, hydraulics, mechanics.* Ability to work offshore for prolonged periods of time.**What we’ll offer you:**Benefits for this role include a competitive salary accompanied by an attractive package.#LI-DT1What you could be working onSustainable infrastructure## Sustainable infrastructure solutions: building resilient, green infrastructure for sustainable development**Disclaimer for recruitment agencies:****Fugro does not accept any unsolicited applications from recruitment agencies.
