Join Fugro’s UK team as a Travel Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in enabling global projects that help create a safe and sustainable world. Based in the UK with a hybrid working environment, you’ll support offshore, land, and business travel for colleagues working on impactful geodata and engineering projects worldwide. Reporting to the UK Travel Supervisor, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that keeps our operations moving smoothly, wherever in the world they take place. This is a Fixed Term role (6 months) with full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility to meet the demands of a dynamic, global business.
Your role and responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, visas, and transfers for offshore, onshore, and business travel
- Partner closely with employees, project managers, and project teams to ensure seamless travel planning aligned with project timelines
- Ensure compliance with Fugro travel policies, procedures, and cost considerations
- Act as a trusted point of contact, providing timely updates and solutions to travel-related queries or challenges
- Proactively problem-solve disruptions, ensuring minimal impact to project delivery
- Maintain accurate travel records and documentation in line with regulations and company standards
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver excellent service
What you’ll need to thrive in this role
- Experience in a travel coordination role or within the travel industry (GDS knowledge or certification is beneficial)
- Strong understanding of travel regulations, documentation, and visa requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and willingness to learn
