Your Role and Responsibilities
- Operate Fugro’s specialized drilling equipment to drill and investigative boreholes safely and efficiently.
- Determine optimal drilling parameters and select suitable tools for each project.
- Position drill bits accurately for in‑situ testing, logging, and sample recovery.
- Monitor drilling operations and enforce strict health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to deliver accurate borehole data.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with operational standards.
What You’ll Need to Thrive In This Role
- Proven experience in land drilling operations or a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of drilling techniques - Rotary and/or Sonic and safety protocols.
- Ability to work on‑site and travel to various UK locations as required.
