Known for innovation, quality, and exceptional service, we specialise in beautiful quartz and engineered stone surfaces that elevate both residential and commercial spaces. As we continue to expand our footprint, we’re looking for a commercially minded, relationship‑focused Account Manager to strengthen and grow our presence with independent kitchen studios and interior designers across the UK.
As Account Manager – Independent Kitchens & Design Studios, you’ll be the face of Fugenstone for our kitchen trade customers. Your role is all about ensuring our network of studio and designer partners feel informed, supported, and excited to specify our products. From nurturing leads and managing relationships to providing sales training and marketing support, you’ll play a vital role in building loyalty, driving specifications, and increasing brand visibility in the studio and design community. You’ll work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and customer service to deliver a seamless, best‑in‑class partner experience. This is a client‑facing, field‑based role with regular travel to showrooms and studios in Midlands and around.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of independent kitchen studios and interior design accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for your partners — offering product support, updates, and commercial guidance
- Ensure the Fugenstone brand is well‑represented across all partner locations (displays, samples, POS)
- Proactively generate and nurture leads within the independent trade channel
- Deliver product presentations, training sessions, and in‑studio visits to drive engagement and specifications
- Identify new partnership opportunities and onboard new studios into the Fugenstone network
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure partners receive relevant assets, samples, and campaign materials
- Input and manage all account activity and partner data in the CRM — ensuring accuracy and follow‑up
- Analyse performance of accounts and report on studio engagement, lead conversions, and sales trends
- Support trade customers with quoting, product selection, and project follow‑up to ensure successful outcomes
- Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
About you
- 5 years’ experience in the interiors and lifestyle sector working with designers either in a sales, account management, or business development role — ideally within the design or interiors, surfaces, or kitchen/furniture sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — comfortable engaging with designers, business owners, and internal teams
- Strong relationship builder who thrives in a customer‑facing role
- Commercially savvy with a track record of hitting sales targets and growing accounts
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Confident using CRM systems to manage pipelines and track performance (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
- A genuine interest in kitchen design, interiors, and both natural stone and surface design industry
- Comfortable working independently, with regular travel across your territory
- Full UK driving licence required
You’ll thrive in this role if you…
- Are passionate about premium lifestyle products and beautiful interiors
- Enjoy developing relationships and helping partners succeed
- Are proactive, self‑motivated and enjoy the autonomy of a field‑based role
- Take pride in providing excellent service and being a trusted advisor
- Love a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment where you can make a real impact
- Be part of an ambitious, design‑led brand making waves in the interiors industry
- Work in a collaborative, supportive team environment with room to grow
- Help shape the success of our trade partner channel — and see the results of your work
- Access to design shows, events, training, and professional development
- Hybrid working model with regular field visits and in‑person interactions
- Competitive salary, performance bonus, and travel expenses covered
