Full Time ADR Driver Trainer – Monday to Friday – £40,500 plus O/T and Benefits My client is a leading fuel distribution business with an established network across the UK. They are looking for a full-time Driver Trainer to support three depots in East Anglia. This position would be ideal for either: An existing driver trainer with ADR/fuel industry experience, or a highly experienced ADR tanker driver looking to move away from full-time delivery work while remaining in the sector. If you are an accomplished ADR tanker driver with strong communication skills, who would like to move into driver training, and an interest in moving into more office-based functions, this could be the right opportunity. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for a range of driver support, training, and compliance activities, including: * Delivering driver inductions and ongoing training. * Carrying out post-incident and accident investigations. * Supporting driver development through vehicle performance monitoring. * Leading driver briefings and toolbox talks. * Ensuring compliance with tachograph regulations and working time directives. * Conducting vehicle gate checks and safety inspections. * Providing operational support to the traffic office, including planning and administrative tasks. * Assisting with cover in the event of unscheduled driver absence. * Managing duties at unmanned or offsite locations as required. Location The role is based in Thetford, with regular travel to two additional sites within East Anglia. Travel will be in your own vehicle, reimbursed at £0.45 per mile. Essential Requirements * HGV Class 2 Licence. * Valid CPC / Driver Card. * ADR Class 3 with Tanks. * No more than 3 penalty points.
