An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a growing and quality-driven engineering team based in Bromsgrove. This role has been created due to continued business growth and offers the chance to work across a diverse range of projects of varying scale and complexity.
You will gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers, with full support provided towards achieving chartered status.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and analysis of structural engineering projects across a range of sectors and project values
- Support the delivery of projects from concept through to completion
- Produce accurate technical calculations, reports, and drawings
- Work closely with a Senior Engineer and wider team to ensure project objectives are met
- Ensure all work is completed in line with quality standards and project deadlines
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Exposure to or experience with industry software such as IStructE guidance tools, TEDDS (or similar structural design software)
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and positive team player
- Ability to manage workload and work effectively to deadlines
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work
- Structured support towards Chartership (IStructE / ICE)
