As a Security Architect, you'll carry out secure delivery of internal and MOD projects. This will require supporting technical agile teams in delivering Kubernetes environments for proof of concepts and internal infrastructure. You will be working with various teams across the business including Software Engineering, DevSecOps Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Cyber Security.
Your work will include:
- Developing security cyber architectures for systems
- Managing security risks for projects
- Producing evidence to meet various MOD regulations
- Designing options and solutions to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities
- Understanding the security implications of bringing cutting-edge technology to government
We are looking for someone with the following experience:
- Carrying out technical design work for secure government systems deployed to Cloud
- Working on threat assessments using industry approved methodologies (e.g. STRIDE)
- Carrying out security work on DevSecOps/Kubernetes environments
- High standards in written report and/or design documentation
- Support development in a secure-by-design methodology
- Hands-on security engineering within Azure and M365 environments
- Knowledge of MOD policies (JSP 440, 453/604, 892)
- Knowledge and experience of Agile, CI/CD principles and their application in secure environments
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be UK sole nationals and hold current SC clearance.
