The predicted salary is between 40000 - 55000 € per year.

The Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from initial planning through to completion. This includes cost control, contract management, and ensuring projects are delivered profitably. While the role is ideally office-based to encourage collaboration, we are open to remote or hybrid working arrangements for candidates with the right level of experience, industry knowledge, and ability to work independently. Experience or understanding of wireless telecoms infrastructure (e.g., mobile networks, tower builds, upgrades, or fibre backhaul) would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle of telecoms/infrastructure projects
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
  • Monitor project costs, value, and profitability
  • Produce valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
  • Manage variations, change control, and commercial risks
  • Procure subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring best value and compliance
  • Review and negotiate contracts and terms with clients and subcontractors
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and operational teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Support claims management and dispute resolution where required
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and industry standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (ideally within telecoms)
  • Desirable: Experience in wireless telecoms (mobile networks, towers, site acquisition, upgrades, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract management
  • Experience managing projects independently from inception to completion
  • Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and commercial/project management systems
  • Ability to work autonomously (particularly important for remote candidates)
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field (preferred)
  • RICS or other professional membership (desirable but not essential)
