Our client is seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst to design data products within Public Markets. You will work collaboratively with Public Markets Technology engineering colleagues, Data Product Owners and investor/analyst end users to ensure that business needs are understood, documented, peer reviewed, prioritised, and addressed throughout the delivery cycle.
Working with business stakeholders & Data Product Owners to help define required outcomes for technology products and apply business analysis tools to capture the business context for the data product, the scope of the work, and the target state value proposition.
Deploy a range of analysis techniques to solve problems which arise throughout the discovery and delivery cycles, including:
- data analysis
- data modelling
- qualitative analysis
- process mapping
- architectural analysis
- solution proposal documents
You will facilitate information sharing between business stakeholders, engineering, and delivery, through artefact creation and running workshops and deep dive discussions and ensure proposed solutions align to the data strategy, Enterprise Architecture and design principles.
Assisting in developing, refining, and prioritising the backlog at both the epic and feature levels, using user story approaches, and contribute to the sprint backlog when clarity is required from the delivery team.
Carry out system configuration, testing, and training and support go live activities of the delivery team, including test writing and RAID log clearance.
Ensure adherence to a change delivery lifecycle, including design stage gates.
