Location: Midlands Based
Role Purpose
Carry out civils works for telecoms and utility projects, including:
- Excavations
- Duct laying
- Reinstatement
- Cabinet and box installation
Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards, following client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow Health & Safety regulations at all times
- Deliver high-quality reinstatement and build work
- Meet productivity and programme targets
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Maintain positive interactions with the public
Essential Requirements
- Experience in civils works (excavation, ducting, reinstatement)
- NRSWA (Street Works) Operative accreditation
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to operate plant and machinery (e.g., mini-diggers)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety on civils sites
Desirable
- First Aid at Work
- CAT & Genny training
- Confined Spaces training
- Experience on major telecoms projects
- Plant operation tickets
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret civils/fibre build drawings
- Knowledge of reinstatement specifications (HAUC)
- Strong safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
