Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving goods, maintaining accurate stock records, ticketing and scanning inventory, and operating Forklift Truck (FLT) equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and book in deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Operate FLT equipment to unload, move, and store stock safely.
  • Accurately label, ticket, and scan goods using warehouse management systems.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock counts.
  • Identify and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and safe.
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid and current Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment.
  • Experience receiving and booking in goods.
  • Experience using scanning, ticketing, and stock control systems.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic IT skills and experience using warehouse systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
