This role involves delivering the electrical elements of site builds, ensuring compliance with design specifications and completing thorough testing and handover. If you have a strong background in electrical installations and telecoms, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete electrical build activities in line with drawings and scope.
- Conduct site surveys, pre-start checks, and ensure documentation is accurate.
- Test AC and DC systems, label installations, and complete handover packs within SLA.
- Verify materials and equipment upon arrival and highlight any discrepancies.
- Work at height to complete DC installations safely.
- Communicate scope and technical details clearly to apprentices and team members.
Key Skills / Experience
- City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3, NVQ and AM2 (or equivalent).
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent).
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings.
- Proficient in fault finding and problem-solving.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of electrical telecoms systems (VF / TEF / MBNL).
- Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 and understanding of AC certification processes.
