We are looking for a motivated Graduate Design & CAD Engineer to join our clients' telecommunications design team. In this role, you will support the delivery of high‑quality designs for a variety of telecoms infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project engineers to produce accurate, compliant, and efficient site‑specific drawings, ensuring all work meets internal quality standards and industry requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with an interest in engineering design, telecommunications, or infrastructure to develop their skills in a fast‑growing sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a solid understanding of processes and procedures
- Produce high‑quality designs in line with statutory, client, and internal standards
- Provide practical design input to help meet site and client requirements
- Meet project deadlines and deliver high‑quality outputs consistently
- Ensure compliance with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations
- Create and amend GA (General Arrangement), DD (Detailed Design), and AB (As‑Built) drawings to client specifications
- Apply knowledge of foundations and steelwork within design outputs
- Degree‑qualified in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Interest in or exposure to mobile telecommunications or infrastructure design
- Basic understanding of CDM Regulations and their importance in design
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn industry standards and technologies
