We are working with an organisation, who are specialists in their industry sector, to recruit an Estates Surveyor to join their Estates / Property team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of property and estates assets, supporting both transactional activity and ongoing property management across a diverse estate.
You will act as a trusted internal advisor, managing your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy while working closely with colleagues across operations, finance, legal, health & safety and external suppliers. This role would suit a commercially minded surveyor who enjoys balancing transactional work, stakeholder engagement and day-to-day estate management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of property and estates transactions, including lease renewals, acquisitions, rent reviews, variations and assignments
- Negotiate agreements within agreed commercial parameters, securing best value and meeting programme timescales
- Prepare supporting business cases and carry out appropriate due diligence where required
- Maintain accurate estates records within property management systems
- Ensure property and payment data is correctly reflected in financial and operational systems
- Contribute to health & safety, environmental, business continuity and information security requirements
- Minimum 4 days required in the office
