Fuel Recruitment is working with a leading telecoms organisation that is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. This role involves delivering the electrical elements of site builds, ensuring compliance with design specifications and completing thorough testing and handover. If you have a strong background in electrical installations and telecoms, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete electrical build activities in line with drawings and scope.
  • Conduct site surveys, pre-start checks, and ensure documentation is accurate.
  • Test AC and DC systems, label installations, and complete handover packs within SLA.
  • Verify materials and equipment upon arrival and highlight any discrepancies.
  • Work at height to complete DC installations safely.
  • Communicate scope and technical details clearly to apprentices and team members.

Key Skills / Experience

  • City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3, NVQ and AM2 (or equivalent).
  • GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings.
  • Proficient in fault finding and problem-solving.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of electrical telecoms systems (VF / TEF / MBNL).
  • Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 and understanding of AC certification processes.
