Digital Forensic Analyst – Permanent – West Midlands – Up to £30,000 Per Annum + Benefits We are looking for a Digital Forensic Analyst to conduct forensic examinations of digital devices (e.g., computers, mobile phones) to acquire and process evidential data and produce factual reports. Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role and our work, applicants will be required to be DBS checked and also NPPV-3, SC Cleared, National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police security vetted. Key Responsibilities: * Case management and forensic analysis of computer and mobile devices. * Securing and preservation of digital evidence. * Procedure and documentation development. * Contribute to achieving and maintaining quality standards (ISO 17025 and 9001) * To keep up to date with digital forensics technology changes * Continue to develop own knowledge and regularly attend CPD events. Essential Skills & Experience: * Excellent understanding of digital technology. * A relevant Degree in digital forensics. * An excellent command of the English language both written and oral. * Fully conversant with the digital forensic process and current ACPO Guidelines. * Adhere to and be fully conversant with the FSR’s Codes of Practice and Conduct. * Accurate and precise. * Experience working in an accredited digital forensics laboratory. Or use of forensic tools including AXIOM, EnCase, Griffeye and X-Ways would de desirable but not a necessity.
