Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 LGV Tramper Driver to join a busy transport operation based in Southampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK.
This is a tramping role, with regular nights out required, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy longer-distance work and being on the road.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
- Complete deliveries and collections across the UK.
- Plan journeys and manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Comply with driver hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) LGV licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Previous tramping experience desirable.
- Comfortable with regular nights away from home.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
