We are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a successful and growing fuel logistics company based in Purfleet. This is initially a 2-3 month temporary contract, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator with previous transport, logistics, or fleet administration experience to join a busy transport operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the transport and operations team.
- Processing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Monitoring vehicle movements and supporting daily transport operations.
- Assisting with route planning and scheduling where required.
- Managing driver paperwork, compliance records, and delivery documentation.
- Data entry and updating transport management systems.
- Producing reports and spreadsheets for management.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a transport, logistics, fleet, or administrative role.
