Our client is currently recruiting for reliable and customer-focused 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join their Home Delivery Network operation. This is a long-term temporary opportunity offering consistent work with a leading logistics provider.
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products directly to customers' homes, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne (C1) vehicle in accordance with road traffic and company regulations.
- Complete home deliveries within designated routes and delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.
- Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and transported safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Adhere to all driver hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations.
- Valid UK C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence.
- Current Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
