Our client is currently recruiting for professional and reliable Class 1 LGV Drivers to join their team in Dagenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle in accordance with all road transport regulations.
  • Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on time.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
  • Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
  • Adhere to driver hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Flexible approach to work and shift patterns.
