We are currently seeking a skilled HIAB Driver to join our team for an ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations using a flatbed lorry with HIAB at £17.50 per hour PAYE plus O/T available.
Duties:
- Safely drive a HIAB lorry to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo as required
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Skills:
- Proficient in driving commercial vehicles, particularly HIAB lorries
- Excellent knowledge of delivery driver protocols and procedures
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Ability to handle physical work including loading and unloading cargo
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driving licence (Category C+E)
- HIAB Licence & Experience
- Prior experience as a class 1 HIAB delivery driver
