Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
- Collect containers from the port.
- Complete deliveries to customer sites.
- Carry out export loads where required.
- Return containers to the port or yard.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely.
- Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately.
- Comply with all relevant driver hours, tachograph and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 1 year's container driving experience preferred.
- Felixstowe Port Pass/Card – essential.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
- Physically fit and comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts.
