The Opportunity
We are looking for a strong, reliable General Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day running of Fuel Bar Cockfosters.
This is not a standard café manager role.
You will be trusted to run the shop, lead the team, and maintain high standards without constant input from the owner.

Your Working Days & Hours
This is a structured, set rota: (31h 30m).
- Monday: 6:15 am–2:30 pm (1 h unpaid lunch) = 7 h 15 m
- Tuesday: 6:15 am–2:30 pm (1 h unpaid lunch) = 7 h 15 m
- Thursday: 9:00 am–5:00 pm (1 h unpaid lunch) = 7 h
Flexibility is required to support the business when needed.
The Role
You will be the operational lead on-site and responsible for running the business day‑to‑day.
You are expected to run the shop without relying on the owner, manage the team and maintain standards, make decisions and solve problems independently, keep the business organised, efficient, and consistent.
This is a hands‑on role.
You will be working on the floor daily, not just managing from the side.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of daily operations.
