We have an exciting new position at our Ipswich service for an Operations Manager. Salary £47,400. Monday-Friday with occasional weekend or evening work as required.

Duties will include:

  • Directly line managing the Care Manager.
  • Overseeing the management of the service to ensure full compliance and best practice.
  • Ensure the business follows all standards and requirements of CQC.
  • Stepping in for management in their absence.
  • Performing regular audits of the service.
  • Actively lead on the recruitment and growth of the business.
  • Line manage the team.
  • Pro-actively manage performance and conduct of the team.
  • Implement and lead the operational procedures.
  • Working with budgets, cost control and effective use of resources.
  • Ensure that care plans are person-centered, reviewed and updated.
  • Supervise and lead on investigations.
  • Promote a positive safeguarding and learning culture.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development.

About you:

  • Has a level 5 QCF or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • A proven track record of Good or Outstanding management ratings.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Competent with digital systems and Microsoft.
  • A good understanding of domiciliary care businesses.
