About Us:
Fubar is Stirling's most iconic late-night destination. With multiple rooms and a strong programme of local and international events - including Central Scotland's busiest midweek student nights - Fubar has been at the heart of the city's nightlife for decades.
We are now seeking an experienced, commercially-minded, and highly motivated General Manager to lead the venue's operations, drive business growth, and maintain the high standards Fubar is known for.
The Role
As General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the club's success - overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations, shaping the customer experience, growing sales and leading a high-performing team. You'll work closely with promoters, brands, and partners to deliver unforgettable nights while developing the business and ensuring a smooth delivery of our events calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the venue
- Drive sales and profitability while maintaining brand standards
- Collaborate with marketing and promotional teams to develop compelling campaigns
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health and safety, and company policies
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, implementing strategies to exceed targets
- Inspire, train, and support your team to deliver consistently high service standards
About you:
- A natural leader with a hands-on approach who can inspire and manage a strong team
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a busy late-night venue
- Hold a valid Personal Licence
- Proven track record in achieving strong financial results
- Strong understanding of both digital and offline marketing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of nightlife trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity
- Proven ability to manage different types of clientele and deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Highly organised, standards-focused, and adaptable under pressure
