FTX Logistics Ltd is looking to recruit HGV Mechanic to deliver its contracted Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) capability on behalf of the MoD. Mechanics will be based at either Bulford, Wiltshire or Catterick, North Yorkshire with occasional requirements to support HET tasks in the UK.
JOB ROLE
- Routinely 44-hour week Monday to Friday including paid breaks.
- Will work closely with affiliated regular army unit, 19 Tank Transporter Squadron.
- Opportunity to work at our depot in Germany for short periods (4 weeks).
- Part of a highly skilled, specialist team.
Military
FTX provides this capability through the employment of Sponsored Reserves (SR). Mechanics are required to become Sponsored Reserves (SR) in the British Army and will be required to undertake military training to support exercises and operations. Reservist commitment met as part of the job, not in your own time.
