The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Hours of Work: Full-time 37h per week (some flexibility required for occasional shift work and overtime)

The primary role for this position is to deliver a service effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, and you may be required to perform work not specifically referred to within the duties listed below. Training will be provided where needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implement department policies and goals in line with company business plan and group objectives.
  2. Housekeeping - All areas within the backyard and the shop floor to be kept neat and tidy.
  3. Ensure all other duties within the backyard and the shop floor are carried out as per company procedures.
  4. Environmental - Designated skips for scrap metal, scrap wood, and general rubbish to be emptied as required.
  5. Gas bottles - All propane gas bottles, oxygen bottles, etc., to be caged in their designated areas.
  6. Health, Safety, and Welfare - Toilets to be replenished with clean, dry towels daily; cleaning materials to be replenished when required.
  7. H&S checks on cranes, forklifts, pickup trucks, and water lines as per legislation.
  8. The First Aid Room is to be kept clean, and stock replenished as required.
  9. Packing – Including pallets, boxes, and shipping containers as required.
  10. Saws – Loading and operating saws in accordance with the Company H&S Policies and Procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
  11. Movement of components - All components which require to be moved must be done in accordance with the Company H&S Policies and Procedures and Safe Systems of Work, including use of the overhead crane, loading/unloading external transport, and transporting goods between Proclad facilities and sub-contractors using Proclad\'s own pickup truck.

The candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team and on their own using their own initiative. As part of the team culture, the operator will develop the skill set and flexibility required to provide continuous improvement and customer focus.

The candidate must be flexible wherever possible to meet the company and customer requirements.
