We have an exciting opportunity for CNC Machine Operators (Horizontal Borer) to join our team and learn new skills while enhancing those already attained. The role demands accuracy, diligence, resilience and is suited to a self‑motivated individual. FTV Proclad International Limited is a worldwide leader in protective weld cladding of pipeline components. Due to current success in securing orders, we are recruiting CNC Machine Operators (Horizontal Borer) to join our Glenrothes facility.
Responsibilities:
- Set, operate and program CNC control system
- G Fanuc control panel knowledge desirable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency within the department.
- Support lean manufacturing and good housekeeping principles.
- Ensure all Job Instruction Sheet tasks are booked on and closed off in line with applicable procedures and codes.
- Maintain correct identification and traceability of components throughout the process.
- Verify components are correct to specification and that inspection paperwork has been completed as per Procedure.
- Interpret B.O.M.
