FTS Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team with a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the country that continues to grow year on year, we are excited to be recruiting a HGV1 Trunk Driver, starting as soon as possible.
You’ll be working as a HGV1 Driver, completing trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country, all drop and swaps.
Location: Swindon, SN3
Hours: 10 hours + (8 hours guaranteed pay)
Pay Rate: £17.41 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, paid fortnightly on set pay days)
Start date: ASAP
Shift Duration: Days: Monday to Friday, Nights: Sunday to Thursday
Start Times: Between 0400am - 0700am / From 1600pm
What You’ll Do:
- Operate HGV1 vehicle to complete trunk runs.
- Trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country.
- All deliveries are drop and swap.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
Skills and Requirements:
- Valid UK category C1 licence with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum age of 21 years due to insurance purposes.
- Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1).
- Must have a minimum of 1 year HGV1 experience.
