FTS Recruitment has an Fantastic opportunity to be part of the team with a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the Country that continues to grow year on year we are excited to be recruiting a HGV1 Trunk Driver, starting as soon as possible.
You’ll be working as a HGV1 Driver, completing trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country, all drop and swaps.
Job tile: HGV1 Trunk Driver
Location: Haydock, WA11
Hours: 10 hours + (8 hours guaranteed pay)
Pay Rate: £18.12 per hour. Pay rate is inclusive of holiday pay and pay is fortnightly on set pay days,
Start date: ASAP
Shift Duration: Days: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Between 6am - 7am
What You’ll Do
- Operate HGV1 vehicle to complete trunk runs.
- Trunk runs depot to depot, to either Swindon or Scotland!
- All deliveries are drop and swap.
- Must have double deck trailer experience
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
Skills and Requirements
- Valid UK category C1 licence with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum age of 21 years due to insurance purposes
- Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
- Must have a minimum of 1 years HGV1 experience
