Details
- Hourly rate : £14.42 per hour, Overtime £21.63 after 48hours per week - Pay is fortnightly on set pay days.
- Minimum pay : 9 hours guaranteed pay
- Shift duration : 10 - 12 hours
- Shift pattern: 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off - includes weekends as part of the compulsory rota!! Job Description:
- Drivers Mates will be working as a home delivery team, going out as part of a 2 man crew
- Delivering beds, sofa, wardrobes - installations are required and removal of rubbish.
- Training is provided to use the pods, scan items, make pre calls to customers and to check paperwork.
- MUST be ok with handball and heavy lifting
- Delivery to room of customers choice with some installations.
- Number of drops: Generally between 13-17 drops per day - within a radius of Hatfield. Requirements:
- Must have own transport to get to site or live in AL10 to commute to site for 0500am starts.
- Must have a minimum of 2years recent Drivers Mate experience and able to provide references.
- Must have home delivery / furniture delivery experience
- Must be ok with lifting and handball as the role is physical
- Must be able to work weekends as part of the compulsory rota.
- Must be able to read and write to intermediate level as this role is customer facing.
- Training: Induction and company training provided
