We’re hiring HGV1 Delivery Drivers to join our busy delivery team! FTS Recruitment are looking for experienced HGV1 Drivers to work for our customer based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to join our professional transport team. You’ll be working as a HGV1 Driver, completing trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country, all drop and swaps. What You’ll Do * Operate 7.5T vehicles for completing trunk runs * Assist in loading the vehicle and stock checks * Deliver items to customers and assist in unloading the vehicles and delivering goods. * Complete all delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records * Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly * Ensure that all duties are fulfilled to the highest standard * Ensure that all scheduled deliveries are completed on time and in full * Report any incidents immediately following the correct protocol * Polite and professional at all times * Comply with UK driving laws, tachograph rules and company safety regulations Skills and Requirements * Valid UK category C1 licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Minimum age of 21 * Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1) * Good route planning and time management skills * Reliable, professional, punctual and safety-conscious * Previous 7.5T experience of minimum 1 year Benefits * 33 days of holiday including bank holidays * Modern, well-maintained vehicles * Regular routes & consistent work * Supportive team environment * On site parking * 2 days training then out solo Apply today by sending your CV now!
