We\'re hiring Driver\'s Mates to join our busy delivery team!
This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Home Delivery Driver\'s Mate for a national delivery company.
You\'ll be helping our drivers load, unload, and deliver home furniture safely to customers, with some installations. No two days are the same.
What You\'ll Do
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading home furniture from the 3.5T Luton van
- Secure loads to prevent damage during transport
- Help navigate and direct the driver as required
- Deliver home furniture to customer premises, ensuring care and professionalism, with some installations and rubbish removal
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain signatures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the vehicle
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and manual handling procedures
Skills and Requirements
- Good physical fitness, able to lift and carry heavy items
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction
- Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided
