FTS Recruitment are looking for HGV2 Home Delivery Driver to work for our customer based in Armthorpe, Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a HGV2 Home Delivery Driver for a National Delivery Company. Get in touch now to get involved! These opportunities don't come around often.
Job Details:
- Hourly rate: £16.79 per hour, overtime £25.19 per hour after 48 hours per week - Pay is fortnightly on set pay days and is PAYE.
- Minimum pay: 9 hours
- Start time: 05:00-07:00 AM
- Shift duration: 10 - 12 hours
- Shift pattern: 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off - Does include weekend working!
- Location: Armthorpe, DN3.
Job Description:
- Drivers will be working as a home delivery team, going out as part of a 2 man crew.
- Delivering beds, sofa, wardrobes to customer houses.
- Delivery to room of customers choice, will involve some installations and rubbish removal.
- Number of drops: Generally between 13-17 drops per day - within a radius of Doncaster.
- MUST be ok with handball and heavy lifting.
- Training: Induction and company training provided.
Requirements:
- Must have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
- Must be ok with heavy lifting
- Must be ok working weekends as part of the set rota.
- Must hold a full UK licence with a valid UK CPC and Tacho Card.
- Must have good customer service skills.
