Fortrea's Clinical Research Unit in Leeds offers a Bank (0‑Hours) position. Work is offered based on clinic demand, typically Monday to Friday with possible weekend, twilight and night shifts. During busier periods you could work up to 37 hours per week, but hours vary week to week depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate lab equipment, monitor temperature and maintain global customs compliance for sample shipments.
  • Coordinate the storage and shipment of samples in accordance with study protocol and lab manual requirements.
  • Dispatch samples to external laboratories worldwide.
  • Ensure adherence to correct shipping procedures and compliance with international regulations for biohazardous and dangerous goods.

Qualifications

  • Experience shipping packages or organising storerooms.
  • Attention to detail, practical mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • General education sufficient for role requirements.
  • Organised, tidy and able to maintain a clean work space.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, follow instructions and avoid cutting corners.
