Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Performance Management: Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance and performance issues and support managers in resolving workplace conflicts.
  • HR Operations and

Analytics: Maintain accurate employee records, be proficient in HR technologies and data systems and analyse HR metrics such as absence, turnover and performance.

  • Policy & Compliance: Advise managers and staff on HR policies, employment law and best practices, ensuring legal compliance and minimizing organisational risk; support the implementation of HR strategies and programmes on a regional and global basis.
  • Training & Development: Support employee and manager training initiatives; contribute to the development and delivery of tailored training programmes; promote and enhance employee engagement through communication and feedback channels.
  • Absence Management: Monitor and manage sickness absence; support wellbeing initiatives and proactive interventions.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience within a fast‑paced professional environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal professional qualification (CIPD level 5) – Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Working knowledge of employment regulations, policies, procedures and legislation.
  • Good understanding and technical abilities within all areas of HR.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and to assert opinions and ideas with confidence.
  • Ability to think innovatively and rationally about decisions and to produce creative solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and thorough, methodical attention to detail.
  • Excellent people skills, communication and presentation skills.
