About The Role

The Global Core HR Senior Manager oversees daily operational needs of FTIs Core HR team, supporting the global workforce. This role reports to the Director of HR Services and has a matrixed reporting line to the EMEA HR VP. The Senior Manager manages 8-12 Advisor & Senior Advisor level staff across the EMEA region and is part of a new Workday Governance & Process Excellence team, working as a consultative partner to COE and HR teams to optimize HR processes in Workday and beyond.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the documentation, review, and maintenance of all HR processes, procedures, and policies in the Global HR Knowledge Base for 34 countries.
  • Ensure regional processes are aligned with Global HR core processes.
  • Optimize our Workday strategy across the various HR processes to deliver the best outcome for employees, HR teams and managers.
  • Build guardrails into our Workday processes and approvals to follow the evolving Governance North Star globally and identify areas for improvement and consistency.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continued development and improvement of the HR function in EMEA and pilot the Core HR team in North America.
  • Identify automation and Workday improvement opportunities in partnership with the People Operations & Systems team.
  • Lead ad hoc projects to ensure timely and accurate completion; delegate projects to team members for development and stretch opportunities.
  • Develop and execute change management plans for projects and change initiatives.
  • Partner with other Core Ops departments (ex. Payroll, IT, etc.) and HR Centres of Excellence to drive process improvement in Workday.
  • Develop guardrails and approaches to ensure Workday processes and approvals follow protocols and are strategically aligned with the business strategy.
  • Manage local HR vendor relationships and spend.
  • Oversee development and training of HR Advisors across multiple countries in the EMEA region (ex. UK, France, Germany, etc.).
  • Collaborate regularly with HR business partners to ensure Advisory Support model works smoothly.
  • Develop agreed goals and performance targets for all direct reports.
  • Drive the performance of the team by continually reviewing individual and team performance levels, ensuring all team members receive honest and regular feedback.
  • Minimal travel may be required to other offices within the EMEA region or United States.

  • Proven ability to manage HR projects independently and leverage contributions of other team members to accomplish projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6 years\’ experience working in an HR operations team (including a leader level) within a global organization, including project management, process improvement and people management.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and related processes such as leave management, compensation, employee relations, data maintenance, offboarding/onboarding support, performance management and talent development.
  • Workday experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience with CIPD qualification.
  • Professional services experience is desirable.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, SuccessFactors is beneficial but not essential.
  • Additional languages would be advantageous.
