FTI Information Governance, Privacy & Security Practice (IGPS) is designed to help organizations better manage their information. FTI Technology's IGPS is a fast-growing practice that has launched several consulting offerings designed to minimize risk and reduce costs associated with the creation, use, production, and disposal of information. When combined with FTI Technology's award-winning software and range of experts around the globe in the area of eDiscovery, this practice provides great strategic value to FTI's clients. As IGPS is an emerging market, delivery of our services requires both high-level strategic problem solving and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead business development opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Lead the delivery of advisory and managed services in the IGPS space for corporations, law firms, and government entities.
  • Lead client engagement and provide delivery excellence in IGPS engagements.
  • Lead IG assessments covering a wide span of disciplines across legal, privacy, security, records management, data management, and IT processes.
  • Lead development of business case & ROI analysis to support program assessments.
  • Develop programme and project plans, resource allocation, and execution models for IG remediation projects.
  • Develop and implement IG Target Operating Models (TOMs) to address organisational changes required to operate and sustain effective information governance.
  • Align enterprise IG related policies, procedures, and standards, including the development of records management, records retention schedules, data classification standards, legal hold policies, etc.
  • Analyse, design, and optimise IG related business processes via technology and process transformation.
  • Engage and cultivate diverse client stakeholder relationships.
  • Conduct current state process analysis and develop future state process presentations.
  • Develop and implement change management to embed data compliance across the organisation.
  • Develop stakeholder and user specific training and communications.
  • Adapt existing industry standards to support engagements & create novel frameworks to meet evolving client needs.
  • Be client service-oriented to meet client deadlines, including working out of business hours when necessary.
  • Responsible for day-to-day activities of multiple engagements including interaction with other consultants, supervisors, and client personnel.

You will be working on a range of challenging client engagements managing consultants to deliver projects on time and to budget. You will also support the development of the practice and business development activity.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2:1 BA/BSc degree, or equivalent.
  • Information Governance and/or security professional qualifications is desirable, e.g., AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP), ARMA Information Governance Professional (IGP).
  • Microsoft SC-400 Administering Information Protection and Compliance in Microsoft 365 is desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and client presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong sales & commercial awareness.
  • Self-starter that demonstrates an ability to solve complex problems with well thought out innovative solutions.
  • Provide superior client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations.

Experience:

  • Significant Management Consulting experience related to at least one of the following domains: Information Governance, Security, Records management, Data Governance and Management.
  • Experience with global multi-nationals involved in enterprise process improvement or change management involving the use of technology.
  • Experience in operationalising compliance programmes.
  • Information Governance, Data Governance and/or Information Management Experience.
  • Experience with data security and compliance advisory in the Cloud, such as Microsoft 365.
  • Experience in IT Advisory & Technology enablement.
  • Experience with Global system integration.
  • Experience in applying formal project management methodologies.
  • Experience of working with a complex technology stack, with a significant data and client integration component.
  • Experience within complex structured and unstructured data remediation programmes utilizing technology solutions.
  • Track record of technology management and deployment, including running requirements gathering and technical workshops.
  • Exposure to enterprise information management tools such as StoredIQ, BigID, Clearwell, Enterprise Vault, HP, SourceOne, Recommind, Kazeon, Optim, Microsoft 365 and others.
  • Experience of working and advising on Microsoft Purview compliance and security features (such as sensitivity and retention labels, DLP) and the emerging Copilot (AI) capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Successful management/supervision of others.
  • Experience as both managing and providing subject matter expertise within a project.
