As ITG Senior Applications Engineer, you lead the design and deployment of enterprise-wide systems and act as a backup for Matrix Teams. You translate business needs into robust technical solutions while aligning architecture with customer requirements. You’ll manage day-to-day operations of the global application infrastructure, ensure SDLC compliance, and participate in budget and service desk activities. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on support in a collaborative, growth-oriented IT group. You’ll contribute to a strategic IT service portfolio that drives business value.
Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, and oversee enterprise-wide systems development
- Research and recommend software products to address business requirements
- Ensure business and technical architecture align with customer requirements
- Sustain day-to-day operations of the global enterprise application infrastructure
- Manage incident reporting, Change Management, and NOC operations
- Comply with SDLC standards in solution development
- Analyze performance data to ensure optimal software usage
- Assist with budget development and management for applications development
- Resolve outstanding Service Desk issues and support IT staff
- Perform occasional physical moves of equipment or furniture
- Provide on-call support 24x7
- Exercise latitude and independence in assignments
Key requirements
- Post-graduate application or software development support experience
- SQL or scripting experience for database maintenance, reporting, and development
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating system
- Strong experience with Active Directory
- Experience with Azure
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no sponsorship)
