The FTI PE Performance Improvement team operates in a fast-paced environment delivering high-impact consulting projects for Private Equity clients in the UK and across EMEA, as well as for corporates. The FTI EMEA Business Transformation team, alongside which the PE Performance Team sits, has experienced impressive year-on-year growth and now has offices in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Middle East, South Africa, and globally in North America, Latin America, and Asia. About The Role

Our Managing Directors (MDs) are client-facing, work-generating consultants who typically lead smaller projects and serve as the delivery lead on larger projects (both pre and post deal). They are key members of a successful, growing practice that works across EMEA. The role involves business development, leading pitches, generating work from an established network of Private Equity contacts in the UK, and delivering high-quality client work.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience advising PE clients on pre- and post-deal topics, including Operational Due Diligences, Carve-Out Due Diligences, and Post-Deal full Potential Programmes targeting cost optimization and value creation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in the PE industry from diligence to transformation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations (pre and post deal).
  • Ability to work well with PE deal teams, Operational Excellence teams, and Portfolio management teams to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, with excellent deductive reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to meet evolving client needs.
  • Willingness to travel at short notice domestically and internationally.
