About The Role
Are you ready to dive into complex business environments and contribute to high-impact recommendations that drive client success in the TMT space? As a Senior Director in FTI's TMT team, you will join a leading TMT team of 25 experts and play a key role in formulating strategic recommendations and executing them for our clients (corporates, private equity and lenders), supporting corporate transactions and business performance improvement / transformation. You will manage projects from business development and pitch stage to execution, leveraging previous experience in TMT (preferably in the media & entertainment sector). You also have the opportunity to formally coach junior staff.
What You'll Do
- You will manage modules of a project or designated scope in client billable project work.
- You will play a key role in problem solving through data gathering, problem structuring, independently form insights and actions from analysis with a holistic view of the engagement, and organize and coach team members to build complex financial, operational or market models applying your modelling tools, AI agents and financial proficiency.
- You will be expected to lay out problem‑solving approaches and structures by translating project scope, then independently identify the required analysis and critical path of work under the framework.
- You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality output and balancing delegation of duties versus “doing the work” under challenging engagement conditions.
- Your ability to connect findings to strategic and operational recommendations is key.
- You will leverage your communication and presentation skills to communicate assignments and direction to internal project teams; communicate upward with the project leadership and with clients.
- You will provide formal coaching to junior staff.
- You will structure and present analyses / deliverables with limited support from the engagement lead, and, if required, cover senior team roles / client interactions when senior team is not available.
- You will manage project module teams and demonstrate the ability to identify time scales, understand priorities and resource requirements and dynamically make decisions on delegation and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Beyond this, you will support Senior Managing Directors from a commercial standpoint by developing intellectual capital (white papers, thought leadership pieces), developing client pitches and proposals, and starting to identify areas of focus and leads from existing projects.
This role demands a logical and lateral thinker who is curious, structured and organized, has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, builds strong professional and personal relationships with client teams, and can deliver under pressure while acting as a leader and mentor to junior consultants.
How You'll Grow
At FTI Consulting, we are committed to the professional development and growth of all our team members. Our career paths are clearly defined, supported by a comprehensive training curriculum that provides guidelines for advancement and fosters exceptional performance. From your first day, you will be equipped with the necessary tools and opportunities to develop your skills and excel in your role as a Director.

- Networking opportunities: You will engage with senior team members and industry leaders and expand your professional network through various events and activities.
- On‑the‑job: You will learn through daily interaction with your teams and clients.
