About The Role
FTI Consulting’s EMEA Private Equity team is growing, and we are looking for exceptional Senior Consultants who can operate at the intersection of operations, technology, and value creation. You will work directly with leading Private Equity funds and portfolio company leadership to assess performance, identify upside, and deliver change at pace. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role for individuals who thrive in fast‑moving deal environments and enjoy solving complex operational and technology challenges under pressure.
What You’ll Do
- Operational & Technology Due Diligence: Building a bottom‑up view of how a business really works - its operations, systems, architecture, scalability, and risks. Identifying red flags, quantifying investment needs, and translating findings into commercial implications for investors.
- Value Creation & Modernisation: Developing investor‑ready value creation plans across both operational and technology levers: pricing, procurement, automation, cloud migration, platform consolidation, productivity, and SG&A optimisation.
- Sign to Close Execution: Shaping TSAs, Day 1 readiness plans, and continuity strategies across operations, IT, data, access, and security. Identifying critical path items that could impact deal timelines or stability.
- Post‑Deal Integration & Separation: Leading workstreams on synergy capture, cost takeout, footprint consolidation, IT carve‑outs, system migrations, and platform integrations. Working directly with operators, CTOs, CIOs, and engineering leads to deliver, not just recommend, change.
How You’ll Grow
We are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities. We aim to promote continuous learning and individual skills development through on‑the‑job learning, self‑guided professional development courses and certifications. You’ll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth. As you progress through your career at FTI Consulting, we offer tailored programs for critical professional milestones to ensure you are prepared and empowered to take on your next role.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Comfortable working with limited data, tight timelines, and ambiguous situations.
- Ability to translate technical and operational issues into clear commercial insights.
- A hands‑on mindset - willing to dig into data, processes, systems, and operations directly.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in operational consulting, technology consulting, transaction advisory, performance improvement, software/IT transformation, or a PE‑backed environment.
- Experience on buy‑side or sell‑side transactions across operational or technology workstreams, or equivalent.
