About The Role
The Marketing Manager will report directly into the Marketing Director, supporting the delivery of the UK Corporate Finance marketing programme, which involves all aspects of the marketing mix. You will own and lead on a number of projects concurrently, helping to shape and manage multi-channel marketing programmes with a strong commercial focus. You will work directly with senior stakeholders in the business to understand their needs and deliver activities, confidently bringing our Corporate Finance brand to life and telling a unified, differentiated story in the market. You will have a busy, diverse, hands-on role.
What You'll Do
- Working with the Marketing Director to develop and manage the implementation of the marketing plan, including setting clear objectives and ROI/KPI measures; management of budgets and pre-approvals, and help to drive communication with the business.
- Managing marketing campaigns & programmes, engaging directly with the business to ensure efficient planning, execution, and measurement; working alongside the central marketing team around digital, content, events and design where needed.
- Running client events: Owning the development and delivery of client events (both in-person and virtual), including planning and logistics, management of budgets, liaison with suppliers, and on-the-day execution.
- Managing sponsorship activations (including events, conferences and publications): Devising activation plans and ensuring that investment and impact is maximised.
- Developing impactful communications: Creating communications which are tailored for specific target audiences and channels, setting tactical comms plans for programmes utilising the most effective channels and working closely with the corporate communicate teams.
- Managing the delivery of digital marketing programmes (social media, website, email marketing etc.).
- Overseeing planning and campaign design, working closely with the web team and social media teams to design and execute activities (both organic and paid).
- Provide regular reporting and review analytics across all activities, including making recommendations and sharing learnings.
- Working with the Marketing Director to develop and deliver impactful thought leadership.
- Collateral development and upkeep, including presentations, case studies and brochureware.
- Leading CRM projects, including helping to maintain accuracy of data and promoting best practice/user engagement with our CRM system (Salesforce).
- Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders in Corporate Finance and the Corporate Marketing team.
- Reviewing and managing brand material: Ensure collateral and templates are fully brand compliant and embed FTI Consulting's brand values.
- Contributing to the development of the marketing team as the business grows by effectively sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Assisting with day-to-day team tasks and ad hoc projects, including web and email enquiries, proof-reading, market research, regular reporting etc.

What You Will Need To Succeed
- Proven track record in shaping, owning and implementing marketing plans and the appropriate selection of tactics and channels to achieve commercial objectives.
- Experienced in running digital marketing and social media campaigns across organic and paid.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standard of accuracy, able to proof and edit others' work.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships and liaise effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to offer challenge where needed, and to maintain utmost respectful professional internal and external relationships, even under pressure.
- Possess excellent marketing planning and delivery capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise as needed to deliver against demanding timelines.
- Illustrate a creative flair and ability to create material which elevates B2B branding.
- Team player who is proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.
- Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision.
- Proven content marketing expertise and storytelling skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent), ideally in a business, marketing or communications discipline.
- Demonstrable marketing experience in a professional services B2B environment.
- Skilled in using CRM software and marketing automation tools (Eloqua, Sprout, Salesforce, Cvent or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate marketing qualification preferable.
- Experience within the Corporate Finance industry would be advantageous.
