Requirements

  • Proven competency and focus on AI platforms and solutions across algorithmic and agentic categories, including AI vendor APIs and open-source tooling such as Llama Index, Hugging Face, Claude Code or similar
  • Ability to turn complex and manifold data into clear insights and create compelling visualisations
  • Detail-oriented and accuracy-focused approach
  • Skill to manipulate datasets in Python, SQL and Excel, including writing production-level Python code with automated testing
  • Desire to work with a geographically dispersed team and collaborate with other subject matter experts on joint solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with excellent English
  • Ability to use Git Hub to collaborate with other developers and proficiency with AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Expertise with data visualisation tools such as Graphext, Power BI or Tableau and proficiency with digital listening tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker or Meltwater
  • Expertise in journalism, media, communications or marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO and GEO/AIO
  • Expertise in graph data science and network analytics
  • Experience with web automation technologies such as Selenium
  • Familiarity with Terraform and Dev Ops principles

Responsibilities

  • Use existing platforms and tools to collect and analyse data, deploying the latest AI technology, strategy and practice
  • Employ qualitative, statistical and machine learning-oriented approaches to investigate and interpret data
  • Innovate, collaborate and lead other data scientists to build and support custom solutions, applications and processing pipelines
  • Drive and lead projects in audience and influencer insights, conversation and media analysis, campaign and message performance, event assessment and more
  • Interrogate multiple data sources and extract insights by combining information from each
  • Detect hidden patterns, identify trends, reveal drivers, predict developments and visualise similarities and differences to deliver actionable communications insights
  • Create visually compelling reporting and presentations
  • Act as an advocate of analytics inside the firm to encourage the further adoption of data-driven solutions
  • Help the team innovate by introducing novel tools and techniques to drive client value and internal productivity
  • Collaborate with other experts on the research, planning and development of data-driven projects
  • Support new business efforts by delivering data-driven insights to inform our approach
  • Assist in the development of presentations, client decks and pitches
