About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Strategic Communications (SC) Finance team for a Billing Specialist. This role is part of the SC regional billing team, a team of circa 10, that forms part of the larger Finance team. The role is responsible for the billing requests from the Strategic Communications segment covering multiple EMEA countries. This is a high volume, low value invoicing role with a mixture of complex project based, fixed‑fee billing & disbursement billing. This particular role will include billing for Ireland & the UK.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Review client project setup to ensure accuracy for Billing: fees/rates, client address details, discounts, VAT implications
- Liaison with executive assistants & professional stakeholders to prioritise and manage your invoicing workload
- Manage invoice priority based on WIP value, WIP aging, contractual requirements
- Preparation and issuance of monthly WIP reports to client facing teams
- Finalisation of client invoices in FTI Billing system (Unit 4) upon project manager approval
- WIP adjustments, write offs, discounts, narrative amendments, progress billing and credit notes where required
- Review and finalisation of invoices at the direction of client facing teams
- E‑Billing - Onboarding and Upload Bills to the clients E‑Billing Platforms (where required)
- Upload invoices on to client portals for approval and payment
- Adherence to FTI SOX internal controls invoice finalisation
