About The Role

We help clients develop efficient and cost-effective tax structures and manage their tax risk and processes. Our advice ranges from tax compliance to international structuring, transactions, employment taxes, VAT and R&D expenditure. We provide tax advice to FTSE 100 and major corporations across a broad suite of tax services and technical specialisms. We are an independent expert tax practice with definitive expertise across many areas of tax and a commercial approach to advising our clients. Our senior management team members are experts in accounting, tax, law and surveying and also include valuation and economists.

What You’ll Do

Typical projects include tax compliance and reporting, transaction structuring (both domestic and cross-border), group reorganisations, and other specialist services including consulting on transfer pricing and R&D tax incentives.

You will:

  • Work alongside more senior colleagues to advise clients
  • Prepare tax computations, provide clerical assistance to the team, and deliver ongoing compliance services to clients
  • Calculate tax liabilities
  • Research new areas of tax legislation and case law
  • Draft reports
  • Attend advisory meetings
  • Assist in transaction support and project management

You will be studying towards the ACA CTA Joint Programme and become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser when completed.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications (or equivalent where applicable)

  • Must be available to begin this full-time role from 7 September 2026
  • Qualified to a degree level (2.1) or equivalent (any degree subject)
  • A/A* or 7/8/9 in GCSE Mathematics

Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent where applicable)

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied and dynamic workload under pressure
  • An analytical and methodical approach
  • Good commercial grounding and pragmatic problem solving
  • Team player but highly self-motivated with initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Resilient under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines and stay focused
  • Genuine interest in the Tax marketplace and familiarity with recent industry developments
  • Drive and willingness to progress and fulfil your potential

Our Application Process

The deadline for applications is 23 October 2025.

STEP 1: Complete our online application form and submit your CV (no cover letter required).

STEP 2: Complete online skills test (numerical, verbal and logical reasoning) and a pre-recorded video interview.

STEP 3: Attend a competency-based video interview to explore your skills and motivations between 17–21 November 2025.

STEP 4: Attend in-person interview at our FTI London office between 1–12 December 2025.

STEP 5: Job offers are made to successful candidates before Christmas.
