- What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Partner with the Segment HR Leader and EMEA Senior HR Business Partner to align HR strategy with business strategy and act as a change agent to the Strategic Communications segment through process design, implementation and approach that support business objectives.
- Act as a culture enabler influencing and supporting Strategic Communications leaders on key focus areas such as diversity & inclusion, flexibility, career coaching and sponsorship.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition team in the preparation and support of segment talent planning.
- Ensure all new joiners are welcomed and onboarded successfully, providing tools for successful integration to the segment and office.
- Work with local leaders to oversee the performance management and career development process within Strategic Communications and support managers in providing continuous performance feedback and advise on career and skills development, coaching discussions and performance improvement plans.
- Provide counsel, assistance, and problem-resolution services to employees at all levels, guided by company policies and relevant employment legislation.
- Managing employee relations matters and be a trusted advisor whilst managing risk for the firm.
- Work with your leaders to distribute the results of the engagement surveys and develop and action plans, ensuring commitment to the plans from local leadership.
- Manage the annual compensation process including analysis of market data, recommendation of salary and bonus awards for individuals including both base and variable pay.
Support leaders on communication of the information.
- Work with segment HR and Global Mobility Centre of Excellence on matters concerning immigration and international assignments.
- Work with the Global HR Shared Services Centre to ensure administrative matters are dealt with accurately and timely.
- Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Talent Development and Compensation and Benefits on all matters relating to the Strategic Communications segment.
- Assist performance coaches and mentors in aligning training opportunities with aspirational talent goals and skills gaps.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continued development and improvement of the HR function.

- What You Will Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- HR generalist experience in an HR Manager or Business Partner role, ideally within a complex and fast-paced environment; Professional Services experience preferred.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating expertise in negotiating and navigating complex situations.
- Thrives in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments, adept at adapting strategies to meet evolving needs.
- Demonstrates a pragmatic, hands-on approach to commercial challenges.
- Independently solves problems and makes recommendations to remediate issues, with highly effective interpersonal skills to support colleagues at all levels.
- Effectively connects and engages with individuals across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrates a passion for driving the people strategy and achieving organisational goals.
- Possesses excellent employment law knowledge and experience with complex employee relation issues, including performance management, redundancies, change programs, and TUPE; strong understanding of legal implications and ability to plan and deliver accordingly.
- UK knowledge is essential; knowledge of other EMEA countries is desirable.
- Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including advanced business writing ability.
- Displays an exceptional eye for detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Maintains a high degree of integrity and demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
